Yazbek: Constitutional Paths Cannot Be Broken to Satisfy Those Hijacking Lebanon

Member of the Strong Republic Bloc, Deputy Ghiyath Yazbek, announced that they are taking Lebanon down the more challenging road, a path that no state takes in respecting its constitutional institutions. He stated that what is happening today is a maneuver being used by the party in its military operations. Yazbek continued in his remarks via Lebanon Al-Hurra: “The constitutional paths cannot be broken to appease those who are hijacking Lebanon by creating unconstitutional norms. The country is hijacked, and the solution lies in respecting the constitution; what is happening today is a coup disguised with sweetness.” He added, “President Nabih Berri has no right to close the Parliament, and the problem is that our country is under blatant occupation exercised by Iran. Lebanon is an Iranian flat to achieve their desires, and today, the devastated Lebanon does not serve the cause of Gaza.”
