British businessman Vivek Chadha, 33, passed away shortly after his legendary wedding. The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that Chadha, known as a hotel tycoon and having connections with leaders of the ruling Conservative Party, died shortly after attending a party at a nightclub in London. A few weeks prior, the Indian-origin businessman married Stuti Chadha, 29, in a lavish ceremony at a five-star hotel in London, culminating a week of celebrations that attracted media attention. Chadha managed the "Nine Group," which has million-dollar assets, including numerous hotels and properties.
His widow stated, "There are no words to describe what happened. I am in shock and still trying to understand it." She added, "We were married just 8 weeks ago and it was beautiful. Now I have to deal with the loss of the love of my life. I am stunned." An autopsy is likely to determine the cause of death, especially considering his age and the absence of known major health issues, according to Sky News. Sources close to the family indicate that the cause of death is natural.
Despite his young age, the late businessman forged relationships with leaders of the ruling Conservative Party in the UK, including former Prime Ministers David Cameron and Theresa May. In 2015, when he was about 25 years old, he donated £100,000 towards the statue of Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament Square, an initiative backed by prominent leaders like George Osborne.
