The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian youth during a clash in the occupied West Bank on Friday. The violence erupted during a protest against Israeli settlements near the city of Ramallah. Witnesses reported that a crowd of Palestinian youths threw stones at Israeli soldiers, who responded by opening fire. The Ministry of Health said a 17-year-old Palestinian was injured by a gunshot and later died from his wounds. The ministry added that the young man, named Muhammad Munir Tamimi, died "from critical injuries sustained from live ammunition today, Friday, in the village of Nabi Saleh." No comment has yet been received from the Israeli army.
