Liverpool FC has announced the signing of Colombian winger Luis Díaz from Portuguese club Porto, making him the first signing for the Reds during the current winter transfer window. Liverpool posted on their official Twitter page under the title: "The moment you've been waiting for." It is expected that Liverpool will tie the Colombian star Luis Díaz to a contract extending until June 2027. The transfer deal for Luis Díaz from Porto to Liverpool will cost Liverpool €40 million, plus an additional €20 million. Luis Díaz has participated in 29 matches with Porto during the current 2021-2022 season, scoring 19 goals and providing 4 assists.
