Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed coordination within OPEC, as well as bilateral, regional, and international issues on Tuesday. After the talks with Tebboune in the Algerian capital, Prince Faisal stated that Saudi Arabia is keen on maintaining coordination and consultation regarding regional and international matters that concern both Algeria and the Kingdom, particularly regarding joint Arab action. He added that they also discussed coordinating positions concerning OPEC and supporting trade exchange between the two countries. The Algerian presidency indicated that Prince Faisal conveyed a message from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to President Tebboune and discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations. The statement noted that the president emphasized the depth and strength of the bilateral relationship and the commitment to enhancing it in a manner that serves the highest interests of both peoples.
