Saudi Arabia Allows Holders of Visitor, Tourism, and Work Visas to Perform Umrah

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj announced today, Thursday, that holders of visitor, tourism, and work visas are permitted to issue a permit to perform Umrah under several conditions. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stated in a press release today that a permit for Umrah can be issued for visitors, tourists, or workers, provided that the permit is obtained through the "Eatmarna" application, the beneficiary is registered in "Absher," and their status is shown as immune in the "Tawakkalna" application. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had previously announced on the 14th of this month that the allowable period for issuing Umrah permits would be restricted to 10 days, applicable to pilgrims from both inside and outside the Kingdom.
