Cristiano Ronaldo's celebration of his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez's birthday and their trip to a ski resort in Aosta seems to be leading to a financial fine.
Ronaldo's actions are currently under investigation as he violated Italy's quarantine regulations imposed by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country. Ronaldo took his girlfriend to the Courmayeur resort for two days, where they were seen on a ski lift and spotted at the hotel they stayed in.
Italian quarantine rules state: "Travel between regions in Italy is prohibited until February 15, except for reasons related to work, health, or absolute necessity."
On her 27th birthday, Rodriguez shared photos from the celebration Ronaldo and their children organized for her at home on her Instagram account, accompanied by a caption: "Endless thanks, I received so much love today ... and always ... for your kind wishes, attention to detail, and loving messages. I am so lucky."
Ronaldo also shared a photo of them together on his Instagram account, captioning it: "Happy birthday to the love of my life."
