Israeli Army: We Can Fight on Two or More Fronts

The Chief Spokesperson for the Israeli Army, Admiral Daniel Hagari, threatened on Sunday that Israel is prepared to wage war on two or more fronts, adding that the Hezbollah group is working to escalate tensions on the Lebanese border to disrupt the Israeli attack in Gaza. Hagari noted that more than 600,000 residents of Gaza have moved to the southern part of the enclave after Israel announced last week that residents should evacuate Gaza City ahead of an expected ground assault. He stated that Israeli authorities have informed the families of 155 individuals held by Hamas in Gaza. Additionally, he mentioned that at least 289 Israeli soldiers have been killed since Hamas launched a deadly attack on communities in the Gaza perimeter on October 7.
