Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has ordered the hosting of 2,000 pilgrims, including 1,000 from the families of Saudi and Yemeni soldiers who were killed in battles against the Houthis. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this initiative is part of the program for the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj, Umrah, and visitation, which is implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
Minister of Islamic Affairs Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh stated that this year, the program hosted 4,951 prominent Islamic figures and influencers, as well as families of martyrs from Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and others. The total number of guests hosted under this program has reached 62,338 pilgrims at the king's expense, facilitated by a comprehensive service system provided by the ministry in Mecca and Medina.
