A delegation from the Kuwaiti Lebanese Business Council, headed by Asaad Saqal, visited Major General Elias Bissari, the Director General of General Security, to inquire about the reasons for preventing Kuwaiti media figure Fajr Al-Saeed from entering Lebanese territory. Saqal reported that Major General Bissari confirmed that the prohibition on Al-Saeed entering Lebanon is solely due to her previous visit to Israeli territory. Bissari explained that this measure is mandated by Lebanese law, which prohibits any person of any nationality from entering Lebanon if they have previously entered enemy territory. The Kuwaiti side was also informed through the Kuwaiti embassy in Lebanon about all information related to this case.
Bissari emphasized the depth and strength of the historical and brotherly relations between Lebanon and the brotherly state of Kuwait, and highlighted the commitment of the Lebanese General Security and various state institutions to provide the best care and facilities for Kuwaiti nationals in their second country, Lebanon. Saqal thanked Major General Bissari for his clarification, stating that it has greatly alleviated concerns and cleared the misunderstanding regarding the reasons for preventing Al-Saeed's entry into Lebanon. He affirmed everyone's commitment to maintaining the best relations with the brotherly state of Kuwait, which has always supported Lebanon in various fields and levels.
