WHO: Concerns for Those Still in Al-Shifa Hospital

The spokesperson for the World Health Organization, Christian Lindmeier, stated today, Friday, that "the organization is working on carrying out more evacuations from hospitals in northern Gaza as soon as the ceasefire begins," expressing concern for the safety of those still in Al-Shifa Hospital. He added, "We are extremely worried about the safety of approximately 100 patients and medical staff who remain in Al-Shifa Hospital." He refrained from commenting on the statements from the Gaza Ministry of Health, which announced it would suspend cooperation with the organization amid reports that "Israel is detaining medical staff for interrogation."
