Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny delivered an outstanding performance in the second half, helping his team to a goalless draw against hosts Atalanta in Serie A on Sunday. The Polish keeper saved a free kick from Luis Muriel with his fingertips, deflecting the ball onto the crossbar and then over his back out of play near the end.
Juventus is in fourth place with 14 points, four points behind leaders Inter Milan, and one point ahead of fifth-placed Atalanta. Atalanta's Davide Zappacosta squandered two opportunities at the start of the match.
Atalanta came out strong in the second half, buoyed by their fans, but wasted chances through Ederson and Charles De Ketelaere. The closest Juventus came to scoring was with a shot from Federico Chiesa, which was saved by goalkeeper Juan Musso. Muriel took another shot that rebounded off Szczęsny's chest, but Toon Koopmeiners missed the chance, sending the ball over the crossbar from close range in the final minute.
