Mancini Announces Saudi National Team Roster for Matches Against Costa Rica and South Korea

The head coach of the Saudi national team, Roberto Mancini, has announced the roster for the "Green" team, which will participate in a training camp starting tomorrow, Sunday, in Newcastle, England. The "Green" delegation is set to depart tomorrow afternoon from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Newcastle for a training camp during the FIFA international window in September 2023, as part of the second phase of their preparation program for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, which will take place in Qatar in January 2024.

The squad selected by Roberto Mancini includes 26 players: Mohamed Al-Owais, Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Mohamed Al-Yami, Raghd Al-Najjar, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Abdul-Ilah Al-Amri, Hassan Tambakti, Ahmed Sharahili, Ali Al-Bulayhi, Sultan Al-Ghanam, Ahmed Bamasoud, Saud Abdulhamid, Riyad Sharahili, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Ali Hazazi, Mohamed Kanoo, Salem Al-Dosari, Nasser Al-Dosari, Sami Al-Najai, Samehan Al-Nabit, Abdulaziz Al-Bishi, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Fahd Al-Rashidi, Fahd Al-Muwallad, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, and Firas Al-Buraikan.

The "Green" will play two friendly matches during their camp from September 3 to September 12, 2023, at St. James' Park, home of Newcastle United, against Costa Rica on September 8 and South Korea on September 12, 2023.

It is worth noting that the Saudi national team is in Group F of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, alongside the teams from Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and Thailand.
