Decline in Arrivals to Lebanon by 15% in October

The number of incoming passengers to Lebanon in October 2023 decreased by 15%, recording 208,706 passengers (compared to 245,977 passengers in October 2022). Meanwhile, the number of outgoing passengers from Lebanon increased by 15.5%, reaching 307,879 passengers (compared to 266,680 passengers in October 2022). Transit passengers also saw a decline of 48.3%, totaling 261 passengers. Therefore, the overall number of passengers through Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut during the tenth month of 2023 reached 516,846 passengers (an increase of 0.72% compared to the same month in 2022). The overall number of passengers via the airport from the beginning of 2023 until the end of October increased by 18.12%, totaling 6,321,349 passengers (compared to 5,351,344 passengers in the same period of the previous year, 2022).
