Latest Developments in the Rubiales Case

A Spanish court announced today, Tuesday, that former president of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, will testify before the Supreme Court in Madrid on Friday regarding the non-consensual kiss he gave to Women’s World Cup winner Jenni Hermoso. Hermoso's lawsuit includes that Rubiales kissed her on the mouth "without her consent" while holding her head between his hands after Spain's victory over England in the Women's World Cup final on August 20. The incident was broadcast live on television worldwide. Judge Francisco de Jorge of the Supreme Court is overseeing the investigation since the incident occurred outside of Spain.
