The contract between French star Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid includes a controversial clause. The issue of image rights has been a hot topic in the contracts Mbappe has signed in recent years, particularly when he got into a dispute with the French Football Federation in 2022 after he refused to participate in a photo session over an image rights dispute. Several reports have indicated that Mbappe has already signed agreements for his free transfer to Real Madrid starting next season. Ramos Alvarez, a journalist for "Radio Marca," stated on his YouTube channel: "The contract signed between Mbappe and Real Madrid stipulates that the player retains 90% of his image rights with the club." He added, "In fact, many current players at Real Madrid hold more than 50% of their own image rights, so what happened with Mbappe is not new for the club." Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain, has already hinted that Mbappe will leave the club at the end of the season.
