Russian Army Shoots Down 3 Drones over Belgorod Region

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that the Russian military's air defense systems destroyed three Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod region at around 14:30 Moscow time. The ministry's statement said, "At approximately 14:30 Moscow time on April 20, 2024, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to conduct a terrorist attack using drones on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted." The statement added, "Russian air defense systems were able to destroy three Ukrainian drones while they were flying over the Belgorod region."
