The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued a statement today, Monday, regarding traffic measures starting from tomorrow for a duration of 20 days. This closure affects the road from the Shalimar roundabout towards Mar Moussa - Dhour Choueir due to necessary repairs and reinforcement of the damaged bridge.
The announcement reads: "Due to the repair work and reinforcement of the damaged bridge located after the 'Babdatt Hills' project, which poses a risk to public safety, from 09:00 AM on April 2, 2024, for 20 days, traffic will be prohibited from ascending the Shalimar roundabout towards Mar Moussa - Dhour Choueir, and will be redirected towards Bakfaya, with a descent occurring approximately 50 meters before the aforementioned bridge at the border of the towns of Babdat and Mar Moussa, near the Mar Moussa sign.
Citizens are requested to take note and avoid the road leading to the bridge, and to comply with the directives and guidance of the Internal Security Forces personnel and the traffic signs."
