The leader of the Houthi group in Yemen, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, in his latest speech on the eve of the ninth anniversary of the National Resilience Day, promised to continue targeting Israeli ships in the Red Sea. He viewed the aggression as part of a plan aimed at empowering "Israel" in the region, noting that there have been efforts "to bring the entire area into the Hebrew embrace through the aggression against our country." He added, "The aggression against our country came as part of a comprehensive plan in the region to rearrange it under the leadership of the Israeli enemy and to eliminate the Palestinian cause."
He continued: "The aggression has targeted 2,155 government facilities, which are a structure in favor of the country. A total of 417 factories, 397 fuel tankers, 12,534 commercial establishments, and 484 farms for chickens and livestock have been targeted. More than 10,000 means of transportation and over 1,000 food trucks, as well as 712 markets where massacres have been committed, have also been targeted." He commented: "The targeting of our country has affected all aspects and components of life, and such actions can only be described as aggression."
