Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant threatened today, Wednesday, that "anyone who tries to attack Israel will encounter strong defense and then a strong response against their territories." During a tour of the Iron Dome battery in northern Israel, Gallant stated, "In this war, we are being attacked from multiple fronts and directions," warning that "any enemy that attempts to attack us will first face strong defense, and we will know how to respond very quickly with decisive offensive action against the territories of those who attack our lands, regardless of their location in the entire Middle East." Earlier today, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei threatened to "punish Israel" in response to the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz responded to the threat with a warning in Persian, saying, "If Iran attacks from its territories, Israel will respond and attack in Iran."
