King Charles' Health and Funeral Plans

Sources claim that King Charles' health is gradually deteriorating, prompting officials at Buckingham Palace to regularly update his funeral preparations. According to Tom Sykes from the Daily Beast on Thursday, "When speaking with the King’s friends in recent weeks about his health, the most common response was that his condition is not good."

In light of this information, insiders say that the King’s aides are reviewing copies of a detailed document comprising hundreds of pages that outlines his royal funeral plans, referred to as "Operation Menai Bridge." This detailed document was prepared the day after Queen Elizabeth's funeral on September 8, 2022, using the longer-serving Queen's funeral as a benchmark to ensure King Charles' funeral proceeds more smoothly.

Military officials confirmed to the Daily Beast that "Operation Menai Bridge" is being regularly updated and stated that it's merely a routine procedure, asserting that analyzing the subject any further would be absurd.

The 75-year-old king has largely stayed out of the spotlight since announcing his cancer diagnosis in February to conceal his deteriorating condition, with multiple sources telling the Daily Beast that the situation is "not good." A friend of the King claimed that Charles is "determined to overcome the illness, and they are doing everything they can to combat it," adding, "Everyone remains optimistic, but in reality, he is not doing well. More than they are saying."

Since announcing the diagnosis, the type of cancer has not been disclosed, but it has been confirmed that it is not prostate cancer, one of the more treatable forms of the disease. The palace has remained silent regarding the King's medical journey, though insiders and political commentators have publicly mentioned that the King is responding very well to treatment.
