Expectations of Gantz's Party Withdrawing from Government if No Progress is Made in Negotiations

Israeli Channel 13 reported that the Blue and White party, led by defense minister Benny Gantz, is expected to withdraw from the government this week if significant progress is not made in negotiations. The party proposed at the end of May to hold a vote to dissolve the Knesset in an attempt to conduct early elections in October. Meanwhile, Israeli broadcasting authority noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to persuade ministers and Knesset members to announce their support for the exchange deal.
