Jordan's Senate President: Jordan Will Not Accept External Agendas

The President of the Jordanian Senate, Faisal Al-Fayez, sent messages to the leaders of "Hamas" and "the Brotherhood" emphasizing the importance of maintaining Jordan's strength, as it is tied to the strength of Palestine. Faisal Al-Fayez asserted in his statements that "Jordan will not accept any foreign interference or the imposition of external agendas," calling on "the Brotherhood" in Jordan to "counter anyone attempting to undermine security and stability in the country if they wish for Jordan's interest, and to tell those trying to spread chaos enough."

He added, "Preserve national unity in Jordan and ensure security and stability, as this will be in their interest and the interest of the Palestinian cause." He continued, "The fate of the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples is one, but there are groups aiming to sow discord and strive for destruction, and we must confront them; they are a small faction and cannot influence the Jordanian state because it is a strong state."

Al-Fayez clarified that "there is communication and consultation with the Brotherhood, but I send them a message to maintain Jordan's security. Undermining stability and attacking national unity is unacceptable and we will confront it with all our strength." He confirmed that "everyone must abide by the law so they can protest and express their support for Palestine without disrespecting security personnel, and must not betray the Jordanian state, as this will backfire on them. Anyone attempting to undermine security and stability in the kingdom will be dealt with decisively."
