Russian officials reported that the number of dead and injured from the shelling of Sevastopol in Crimea increased to five dead and dozens injured on Sunday. The Russian news agency "Sputnik" quoted a local source stating, "The death toll from the Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol has risen to 5, including 3 children, with approximately 120 others injured." A previous tally indicated that three people had been killed, while the Russian Ministry of Health earlier announced that 124 individuals, including 27 children, had been injured in the attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems shot down four missiles, while the warhead of the fifth missile exploded in the air. The Ministry of Defense added that the attack was carried out using missiles equipped with cluster munitions.
