Evacuation of 31 Premature Babies from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that its ambulance teams, in coordination with the World Health Organization and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, successfully evacuated 31 premature infants from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza today, Sunday. It was added that the premature infants were transported to southern Gaza "in preparation for their transfer to the Emirates Hospital in Rafah." Later, Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesperson for the Gaza Ministry of Health, stated that the premature infants were moved to Tel al-Sultan Hospital in Rafah and will be transferred to Egyptian hospitals with their families tomorrow. Health officials in Gaza reported that at least 11 Palestinians were killed today, Sunday, in an Israeli airstrike that hit a house in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
