The Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium at Al-Duhail Club hosted the match between Qatari club Al-Sadd and Al-Gharafa in the quarter-finals of the Qatar Amir Cup.
Al-Sadd qualified for the semifinals after defeating Al-Gharafa with a score of five goals to nil. The goals for Al-Sadd were scored by Algerian Baghdad Bounedjah (two goals), South Korean Nam Tae-hee, Akram Afif, and Youssef Abderezak, in the minutes (25, 26, 45, 72, and 80). Al-Sadd dominated the match and had no difficulty achieving their significant victory as they effectively converted their chances into goals. In contrast, Al-Gharafa did not present a challenge worthy of winning and appeared overwhelmed against Al-Sadd in a one-sided match. Notably, with this result, Al-Sadd advanced to the semifinals to face the winner of the match between Al-Arabi and Al-Sailiya, which will take place later today.
