Cairo International Stadium hosted the match between the Egyptian club Zamalek and its guest Ismaily, as part of the 13th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
In this match, Zamalek achieved a vital and late victory over Ismaily with a score of 2-1. Player Youssef Obama scored the opening goal for Zamalek in the 50th minute, while Shukri Nagib equalized for Ismaily in the 63rd minute. Then, Tunisian player Ferjani Sassi managed to seize the winning goal for Zamalek just two minutes before the end of the regular time of the match held at Cairo Stadium.
With this result, Zamalek raised its points total to 29, taking the lead in the league standings. Meanwhile, Ismaily's points remain at just 8, placing them in the seventeenth position on the ranking ladder.
