The COVID-19 virus continues to spread rapidly among the players and staff of the Lebanese club Al-Najma.
Today, Al-Najma Club officially announced the infection of its president, Asaad Saqel, with COVID-19. In recent days, the club had also reported the infection of several of its stars with the rapidly spreading virus, including team captain Abbas Atwi. Forward Mohamed Sublini has also been infected with the virus for some time.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Najma team is currently in second place with 25 points, trailing by two points behind Al-Ansar, who is at the top of the Lebanese football league standings.
