Netflix has announced that global actress Jennifer Garner will star in her third film, Family Leave, for the platform.
Family Leave is categorized as a family comedy, where Garner takes the lead role. Filming is set to begin alongside the sci-fi movie The Adam Project, which features Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, and Mark Ruffalo. Garner experienced significant frustration two years ago when her film Peppermint, in which she starred, underperformed at the box office and received widespread criticism and negative responses. Interestingly, two years after its theatrical release, the film reached the highest viewership on Netflix after being released on December 1 on one of the platforms, surprising everyone. Garner expressed her astonishment, as reported by the Daily Mail, when a report revealed that she did not expect this recent success of the film. The famous actress also shared her thoughts on her Instagram page, commenting on this recent success: "What a lovely surprise, to see you all watching the film like this."
