Anwar Gargash Comments on the Decision to Return the UAE Ambassador to Iran

Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the UAE president, commented on the decision to return the UAE ambassador to Tehran. On his Twitter account, Gargash said: "The wise leadership's decision to return the state’s ambassador to Tehran comes within the UAE's regional approach towards rebuilding bridges, enhancing relations, and maximizing common interests to create an atmosphere of trust, understanding, and cooperation." He added, "Our conviction is firm regarding the necessity of Arab and regional coordination to achieve a stable region and a prosperous future." On Sunday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced the return of its ambassador, Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi, to perform his duties in the Iranian capital Tehran in the coming days.
