An American man lost his life in a horrific incident that occurred in California, highlighting the importance of caution when using automatic car wash stations. The American news site "Newsweek" reported that the incident took place on Saturday evening in California when the driver exited his Scion xB vehicle inside the car wash.
Police stated that the man's body was left for about 30 minutes before it was discovered. They received a report about an incident at an automatic car wash in Escondido County, where officers found a 56-year-old man with serious injuries at the station.
Initial investigations revealed that the man exited his vehicle and entered a narrow lane of the car wash, which becomes tight due to the presence of the vehicle inside and the cleaning brushes on both sides and above.
Interestingly, as soon as the man became trapped in the lane, the alarm went off, but it took 30 minutes before another customer noticed there was a problem and called the police. Rescue teams attempted to revive the man, but he succumbed to his injuries. Police indicated that they do not know the reason for the man's exit from the vehicle.
