SpaceX Launches 53 New Satellites into Earth's Orbit

The American company SpaceX announced the successful launch of 53 Starlink satellites into Earth's orbits. In a statement released by the company, it was noted, "On the morning of Wednesday, May 18, a Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida carrying 53 Starlink satellites, at 6:59 AM local time (13:39 Moscow time)." The statement added, "Minutes after the launch, the rocket reached the desired orbit, the satellites were deployed, and the first stage of the rocket returned to Earth, landing on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida. This first stage of the rocket had previously been used in 4 space launches." SpaceX plans to launch approximately 11,000 Starlink satellites in total to create a network aimed at providing high-speed internet to various regions around the globe. Since May 2019, the company has successfully launched 2,653 satellites, which currently provide internet services in parts of North America, Europe, and Australia.
