Trump Announces the Signing of a Decision to Establish the

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he signed a decision to establish the "Golden Dome" missile defense system to protect the United States from attacks. Trump was speaking from the Al Udeid U.S. Air Base in Qatar during his Gulf visit, which also included Saudi Arabia before heading to the UAE.

Addressing the soldiers, the American president announced that he would allocate the "largest ever" budget for the military, boasting that the United States "has the strongest military in the world." Trump vowed to deliver a "crushing blow" to the enemies of the United States, stating, "My priority is to end conflicts, but I will not hesitate to use force to defend our partners."

Earlier this year, Trump indicated his intention to sign an executive order to start creating an air defense system for the United States similar to the "Iron Dome" used by Israel to intercept missiles. Trump added during a Republican party conference in Miami, coinciding with the appointment of his new Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth: "We need to immediately start creating an Iron Dome with the latest technology" for missile defense.

According to a statement viewed by CNN, the missile defense shield, named the "Next Generation," is intended to protect the United States from ballistic missiles, hypersonic missiles, cruise missiles, and other advanced aerial attacks. Although no weapons of this kind have been used against the United States in the modern era, the idea is inspired by the defense system that the United States helped Israel establish and deploy in the first decade of the 21st century.

During his election campaign, Trump promised to create an "impenetrable dome" to protect the United States from attacks.
