The CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries, Boaz Levi, predicted today, Monday, that a contract for the export of the Arrow-3 missile defense system from Israel to Germany will be concluded within a few months. He mentioned at a university conference near Tel Aviv, "We are making good progress toward finalizing the Arrow-3 contract. If I can make a small prediction, I believe the signing of this contract will happen in a few months." In response to a question about whether other European countries might purchase the system, Levi stated, "One can expect that Arrow-3 will reach more countries as well." Germany has increased its defense spending following the Russian operation in Ukraine. The Arrow-3 system is designed to intercept ballistic missiles outside the Earth's atmosphere. It is the highest tier in Israel's diverse missile defense systems, which range from the Iron Dome that intercepts short-range missiles to Arrow-3 for long-range missiles that can destroy any unconventional warheads at a safe altitude.
