The English website "givemesport" reported that Mane has become the highest-paid African player with a weekly salary of £250,000, ahead of his former "Reds" teammate Mohamed Salah, who earns £220,000 per week. Algerian Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City has dropped to third place, earning £200,000 weekly.
According to the site, Mane was earning £100,000 weekly while playing for Liverpool, which placed him 12th among the highest-paid players at the club at that time. He is set to earn £250,000 weekly with Bayern Munich, as reported by the English newspaper "Mirror."
Both Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez have contracts with their clubs expiring in the summer of 2023, and various English media sources have previously reported that they are looking for better financial contracts.
