Norwegian young player Erling Haaland boasted about the transformation he made to his body after adding nearly 8 kilograms of muscle mass. The 20-year-old Haaland shared a series of photos showcasing his physical change while playing for Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
Haaland, who scored 27 goals in 27 appearances in the Bundesliga, said, "Anyone who looks at my body and my legs will realize how different I have become now. I have turned into a real man."
He added in an interview with the Spanish newspaper "AS," "I have become faster, which is extremely important." According to the British newspaper "Daily Star," Haaland displayed his incredible speed when he ran at 36 kilometers per hour during a counter-attack against Stuttgart in a match last April.
Regarding his muscle gain, Haaland clarified, "I raised my weight from 86 to 94 kilograms, and the increase was in the form of muscle, thanks to taking care of what I eat and continuing my workouts."
As discussions about a potential transfer for Haaland heated up, there is fierce competition among Europe's giants for his signature next summer.
After representatives of the "rising rocket" met with Barcelona's management in April, Catalan radio station "RAC 1" revealed that Haaland's agent Mino Raiola and his father Alf-Inge Haaland requested a €40 million commission for completing the deal, with €20 million for each.
This amount is in addition to Haaland's "price," which has not been disclosed by the media, as well as a €30 million salary for the player. According to the Spanish sports newspaper "Marca," Haaland conditioned his agreement to move to "Camp Nou" next season on Lionel Messi remaining at Barcelona.
It’s worth noting that Haaland is a top priority for Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, in the upcoming transfer season, despite the financial difficulties the club is facing.
