National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji arrived in Qatar today for an official visit. The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement that "Al-Araji arrived in Doha on an official visit, bringing a message from Prime Minister Mustafa Kadhimi to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, inviting him to attend the summit scheduled to be held in Baghdad."
The statement added, "Al-Araji will also discuss with Qatari officials the development of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries on all levels." The Iraqi capital, Baghdad, is set to host a regional conference at the end of this month, with the participation of leaders from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey, and Iran, in addition to the French president.
