Egyptian comedian Mohamed Henedy mocked the attire worn by Liverpool star Mohamed Salah during an interview with a globally recognized men's fashion magazine. Henedy shared images of the outfits he wore in the movie "Sa'idi in the American University," which was released 30 years ago, and compared them with Salah's clothing. He wrote on his official Facebook page: "Henedy 1 - Salah 0."
Salah surprised his followers on social media on Tuesday morning after a famous magazine published a special photoshoot featuring him in a variety of outfits reflecting different time periods and unexpected designs. In an interview with "GQ," a men's fashion magazine, Salah stated that his requests regarding his contract aren't "crazy," and that his future at Anfield isn't solely in his hands as discussions continue regarding a new contract with the Premier League club.
Salah's contract, with 16 goals making him the top scorer in the Premier League this season, extends with Liverpool until June 2023. He reiterated his desire to remain at the club but mentioned that he hasn't yet received a suitable offer reflecting his contributions since joining from Roma in 2017, which included leading the team to a Champions League and Premier League victory.
Salah commented: "I want to stay, but it's not in my hands. It's in the club's hands. They know what I want; I'm not asking for crazy things. When you request something and they show you they can give it, they should do so because they appreciate what I've done for the club."
He added, "I'm in my fifth year here now and know the club well. I love the fans and the fans love me, but with the management, they have been informed of the situation, and it's in their hands." Salah is currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Egyptian national team.
