Additional Penalties:

These penalties come after the Disciplinary Committee announced a $100,000 fine against the Egyptian Football Association. Another fine of $50,000 with a suspended sentence was handed down to the Egyptian Football Association for failing to comply with CAF decisions and directives as agreed upon in the team meeting with media and marketing officials prior to the tournament, as confirmed by the documents and guidelines given to them upon arrival in Cameroon. The Egyptian Football Association also received a $50,000 penalty for violating media protocols and guidelines related to the Africa Cup of Nations, due to the absence of representatives from the Egyptian team at the press conference on January 29 before the Morocco match, which is part of the obligations of all participating teams in the tournament. CAF has granted the Egyptian counterpart a 60-day period to pay the fine.
