The Kremlin announced today, Friday, that Chinese President Xi Jinping will make an official visit to Russia from March 20 to 22, upon the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed the visit today, with a spokesperson stating that Xi will exchange views on international and regional issues with Putin.
The Kremlin mentioned that during the discussions, "the leaders will address current issues related to the development of comprehensive partnership relations and strategic cooperation between Russia and China."
It added, "A number of important documents regarding bilateral relations will be signed."
