Real Madrid announced today, Monday, that they have signed striker Joselu from Espanyol on a one-season loan with an option for a permanent transfer. The Spanish striker previously spent two seasons with Real Madrid's second team and played two matches with the first team before moving to Hoffenheim in Germany in 2012. Joselu scored 16 goals in 33 matches with Espanyol last season and was called up to the Spanish national team for the first time in March. Real Madrid stated on their website that they will introduce Joselu to the media on Tuesday morning.
