Five Injured in Russian Attacks on Kyiv

Officials in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, announced today, Monday, that "at least five people were injured in Russian strikes on the city as Moscow launched another widespread attack on Ukraine." Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, stated on the Telegram app that "three people were injured in explosions in the Solomianskyi district, and two others were injured when drone debris fell in the Svyatoshyn district." The two districts are located west of the city center. Klitschko noted that "drone debris fell on a two-story building in the Svyatoshyn district." The city's military administration reported that "the attacks caused damage." Witnesses told Reuters that they "heard multiple explosions in Kyiv," and local officials stated that "air defense systems are repelling the attacks."
