The Lebanese judiciary is investigating an embezzlement case involving $318,000 from the Ukrainian embassy in Lebanon, according to a judicial official revealed today, Monday. This investigation comes as the Foreign Ministry is working to reduce the expenses of its missions in light of the economic crisis. The embezzlement reportedly affects the embassy's fund, which is sourced from renewal fees for passports of the Lebanese community residing in Ukraine, as well as from agency fees, marriage contract fees, and more, as reported by the "France Press" agency.
