Executives from major oil and gas companies, as well as heavy industries, held discussions on Sunday in the UAE in an effort to agree on a strict commitment to reduce carbon emissions ahead of the United Nations climate change conference (COP 28) next month. The conference is scheduled to take place in Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
