The Saudi club Al Nassr has finalized the signing of Moroccan international midfielder Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, as confirmed by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano. Romano tweeted that Al Nassr and Chelsea have signed all official documents to complete the transfer of Hakim Ziyech. He added that Al Nassr is waiting for the medical tests results before Ziyech officially joins Cristiano Ronaldo at the club.
It is expected that Al Nassr will announce Ziyech's signing officially in the coming hours for a fee of £8 million on a three-season contract. The 30-year-old Ziyech had a contract with Chelsea that extended until 2025, but the Moroccan international preferred to leave the team for a chance to play regularly. Notably, Ziyech was a key player for Morocco in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which achieved a historic milestone for Arabs and Africa by finishing in fourth place.
