The semi-official Iranian Students' News Agency reported today, Wednesday, that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that "the country's released assets abroad will be used to enhance domestic production." U.S. officials indicated that "Iranian funds will be transferred to accounts with restrictions and will be used for humanitarian purposes such as purchasing food or medicine."
