Chelsea Football Club, belonging to the English Premier League, announced on Monday the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino, the former coach of Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain, to lead the team for the upcoming season. Chelsea stated in a press release: "The Argentine will begin his new role on July 1, 2023, with a two-year contract, and the club has a clause allowing for an extension of one additional year."
