Spanish driver Carlos Sainz of Ferrari claimed the pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship on Saturday, after Max Verstappen failed to reach the top ten. British driver George Russell secured second place with Mercedes, followed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. Verstappen, along with teammate Sergio Perez, did not make it to the third qualifying session, resulting in a disappointing performance for Red Bull.
