The "Fajr Forces," the military wing of the Islamic group, announced in a statement that "in response to the Israeli enemy's ongoing aggression against our people and villages in the south, which today also targeted a position of the Lebanese army around the town of Adaisseh, leading to the martyrdom of one soldier and injuring others, and in support of our people in Gaza where the enemy is perpetrating genocide that needs no proof, the Fajr Forces carried out two rocket barrages this afternoon targeting the positions of the Israeli enemy around and inside the occupied Kiryat Shmona in northern Palestine." The statement continued: "We emphasize that our rocket attacks will continue and expand as long as the Israeli enemy persists in its aggression against our people in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, ultimately aiming to deter and prevent its aggression."
