The Saudi National Center for Meteorology revealed today, Wednesday, that Arafat recorded a temperature of 47 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, temperatures reached 45 degrees Celsius in Dammam, Al-Qaisumah, and Al-Ahsa, and 44 degrees Celsius in Mina and Medina. The center urged pilgrims to avoid staying in open areas during peak heat hours from 12 PM to 3 PM, to use umbrellas, and to follow the guidelines of relevant authorities.
Additionally, the Ministry of Health warned pilgrims at the Holy Mosque to avoid standing in long lines after removing ihram clothing to prevent physical exhaustion, to avoid direct sunlight, and to choose appropriate times to perform the stoning of the Jamarat, while staying away from crowding and congested areas. The Ministry also encouraged everyone to drink plenty of fluids and to always carry an umbrella, emphasizing that the rituals of Hajj can be performed safely and with awareness, as health is essential for pilgrims to complete their rites and worship.
